Flats that are suitable for senior citizens and/or barrier-free are constantly growing and are firmly anchored in our portfolio. Currently, bauverein AG offers around 2,900 flats for senior citizens in 9 senior citizens' housing complexes in Darmstadt and the surrounding area. In addition, we offer dedicated social management and innovative residential offers, such as shared flats or flats with an included flat for carers.
Since 1990, the residential complex in Albinmüllerweg has offered senior citizens the opportunity to live surrounded by spacious green areas. There are 79 two-room flats on the site (living space between 56 and 60m2). Each flat has a spacious terrace or balcony, which can be accessed via the living room and bedroom. All buildings are equipped with a lift.
The privately financed flats for senior citizens aged 60 and over can be rented directly from bauverein AG.
The retirement flats in Darmstadt's Arheilgen district were completed in 2004. There are 24 two-room flats on the site (living space between 51 and 57m2). Barrier-free living standards have been implemented in the spacious senior citizens' residential complex: In the bathroom, for example, the floor-level shower, grab rails and folding shower seat, easily accessible electrical installations - to name just a few details that make life easier. Each flat has a balcony or terrace. Both houses are equipped with a lift. The complex also has car parking spaces that can be rented.
The houses at Ettesterstr. 39 and Beyerweg 1 are publicly subsidised residential complexes. Tenants require a housing entitlement certificate in accordance with § 88 d II. WoBauG, which is issued by the Housing Office of the City of Darmstadt. The tenancy agreement is concluded with bauverein AG. All houses are equipped with a lift. The residential complex also has an underground car park. The 33 parking spaces can be rented separately. The residential complex was built with public subsidies. There are 111 two-room flats on the site (living space between 40 and 49m2). Each flat has a balcony or terrace. The kitchens in the flats are already equipped with a cooker and sink. Ground-level access and a lift in each building ensure barrier-free access to the flat.
