Insights into the team

Jacob Nonnenmacher

Former dual student

From my first day at bauverein AG during my internship, I was introduced to the subject area of property with friendliness and helpfulness. That's why I subsequently decided in favour of the dual study programme at the DHBW Mannheim with the practice partner bauverein AG.

In the theoretical phases, the programme teaches subject-related fundamentals as well as economic content. The entire programme is very practice-oriented and you quickly make friends in small groups of 20-30 students.

As a dual partner, bauverein AG provides all the support you need. Be it time to write your bachelor's thesis or project work or specialist support with questions relating to the property industry. During the practical phases at bauverein AG, practical content is taught and the knowledge acquired at university can be applied directly. The varied and multi-faceted departments prepare you well for your future career. The dual study programme gives you a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical activities.

Max Strasser

Dual student business administration/real estate management (Bachelor of Arts)

Even during my application phase, I realised what I expected from a good employer. The values of bauverein AG, especially sustainability and social responsibility, convinced me right from the start. This conviction was decisive for my decision to take up the dual study programme at the DHBW Mannheim in cooperation with bauverein AG as a practical partner.

The dual study model with its regular alternation between theoretical and practical phases makes it possible to apply theoretical principles directly in practice, which are of great benefit in everyday working life. At DHBW Mannheim, the degree programme includes lectures on various legal, real estate-related and economic topics. From the third semester onwards, students also have the opportunity to specialise in marketing or portfolio management by choosing a focus area.

During the practical phases, the rotation through different departments offers a comprehensive insight into the work processes and their interfaces. This not only promotes an understanding of the cooperation between the departments, but also of the underlying structures and working methods. For example, you gain a detailed insight into complex projects such as major modernisations and develop a deeper understanding of internal processes.

I particularly appreciate the collegial support and close supervision from the employees in the respective departments. This close cooperation plays a key role in ensuring that trainees and dual students are not only supported professionally, but also personally.

Bedirhan Erdogan

Trainee IT specialist for system integration

During my training as an IT specialist for system integration at bauverein AG, I am involved in setting up IT systems, maintaining networks and supporting my colleagues with technical issues. It is particularly exciting that I have been able to work on different tasks and projects since the beginning.

I learnt the theoretical foundations of my training at the Friedrich-List-Schule, where I studied topics such as network technology and IT security. I can apply the knowledge I learnt there directly in my practical work at bauverein AG.

I appreciate the open and helpful teamwork. If you have questions or difficulties, you always find support, which promotes learning and makes the work pleasant.

The training programme at bauverein AG combines theory and practice in an ideal way and gives me the opportunity to continuously develop my skills.

Ivan Durdevic

Team Leader Customer Service Darmstadt

Our tenants are at the centre of our customer service - whether they have questions about their tenancy agreement, concerns or complaints. My team and I are the point of contact and always work in a friendly and helpful manner, both with tenants and with each other.

The tasks are varied and require close cooperation with different departments, which makes everyday life exciting and varied. I particularly appreciate the good working atmosphere and the positive team dynamics that make our work so pleasant and successful.

It is motivating to find solutions with committed colleagues and to see how much our work achieves through positive feedback from tenants.

Claudia Münker

Account Manager South Hesse

In our team, we are responsible for looking after tenants during ongoing tenancies. I am particularly enthusiastic about the variety of tasks, which range from clarifying everyday issues, such as cancelling tenancy agreements or accepting additional people into the flat, to supporting more complex issues, such as conflicts or other tenant concerns. The direct contact with tenants and the opportunity to make their everyday lives easier through our work motivates me every day.

What I particularly appreciate about working with my colleagues is the mutual support, also across teams, which helps us to successfully master even challenging situations. During my time at bauverein AG, I have also learnt a lot about efficient communication and customer-oriented problem solving.

A particular highlight is taking part in neighbourhood festivals or other tenant events, where we can get to know the tenants in a relaxed atmosphere. Such events and experiences show how important direct contact with tenants is for us, but also for our tenants.

Marvin Opper

Service Centre Clerk

Since my first day at bauverein AG, I have been very well received by my colleagues, which has made my start in the company much easier. I currently work in the service centre.

As we always have a lot to do, it's very important to be able to rely on the team. Teamwork isn't just an empty phrase for us, it's a way of life! As a team, we are the first point of contact for tenants and, so to speak, the smile at reception in our main office in Siemensstrasse and the friendly voice on the phone.

Our job is to provide the best possible first-level support. The biggest challenge in our day-to-day work is to keep a cool head in both stressful and conflict situations. As the issues are very diverse, we have a basic knowledge of pretty much every specialised department at bauverein AG.

Our major project is currently called "Ludwig". Ludwig is an AI (artificial intelligence) that supports us on the phone. Ludwig is currently helping us to process incoming calls on a daily basis and he is learning new things every day, including from you and your various concerns. Have you ever spoken to Ludwig?
