The Management Board of bauverein AG
The Management Board of bauverein AG currently consists of Sybille Wegerich, a business economist who has been with the company since 1 October 2014, and Armin Niedenthal, a graduate engineer who took up his post on 1 January 2016. Armin Niedenthal is responsible for the technical area, while Sybille Wegerich is in charge of the commercial area.

Our self-image
Today for the city of tomorrow. Pioneering. Committed. Human. - Under this motto, bauverein AG has been pursuing a mission for more than 150 years: to offer people of all nationalities and income levels a secure home. But for us it is not only important to provide a roof over your head - we strive to make you feel at home with us.
Since our foundation in 1864, we have seen ourselves as a basic provider, always true to our promise of providing affordable housing for broad sections of the population. To this day, publicly subsidised housing accounts for an impressive 39.4% of our portfolio. But we go even further: in order to meet the growing demand for affordable housing, we also offer numerous flats in the privately financed sector at prices per square metre that are below the market rate.
Our commitment goes beyond simply providing housing. Climate and environmental protection are of central importance to us. For years, we have been committed to energy-efficient refurbishment, passive house construction and energy-saving living and building. Our aim is to offer living space that not only fulfils your housing needs, but also meets high energy requirements - a contribution to sustainability and environmental protection.

Our mission
As a municipal property service provider, bauverein AG plays an active role in the social and cultural life of our region. Our commitment extends across various areas - from sponsoring and donations to project-related support.
It is particularly important to us that our support is anchored locally. We therefore focus on supporting associations, institutions and organisations that are based in our region. Our efforts are centred on ensuring that our tenants benefit in some way from this support.
A particular focus is on projects that enhance the well-being of children and young people, promote creativity or contribute to improving the neighbourhood. We believe that this targeted support not only improves individual quality of life, but also has a lasting positive impact on the entire community.

We are firmly convinced that economic success and sustainable corporate governance are closely linked, particularly in the property sector and for municipal companies. For this reason, bauverein AG became involved in the area of corporate responsibility at an early stage.
