Integration of bauverein AG into the HEAG Group as part of the reorganisation of Stadtwirtschaft der Wissenschaftsstadt Darmstadt through the acquisition of 80.12% of the shares in bauverein AG by HEAG AG. Transfer of bvd Gewerbe GmbH (formerly Betriebsgesellschaft mbH Darmstadt) and HEAG Wohnbau GmbH to bauverein AG.

bauverein AG has established itself as the largest landlord in Darmstadt. In 2005, every sixth flat in Darmstadt came from the bauverein AG portfolio. That is a good 10 % of all rented flats in the city.

Two construction projects for 26 residential units each are starting: 26 exclusive detached houses are to be built on the "Alte Gärtnerei" site in Darmstadt Bessungen and the construction of 26 subsidised residential units will begin in Elisabeth-Selbert-Straße.

The construction work on Helgolandring in Münster and on Anne-Frank-Straße, Nussbaumallee and the student flats on Eschollbrücker Straße in Darmstadt can be completed.

In Ernst-Ludwig-Park, the residential complex with 48 residential units is inaugurated and the two completed day-care centres in Darmstadt (Ernst-Ludwig-Park and Borsdorffstrasse) are handed over to their operators.

The "Schwarzer Weg 20" retirement home, which focuses on carrying out medical prescriptions, arranging domestic and social care services and providing guidance and counselling for patients and relatives, is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

The "Treffpunkt-Kunst" art exhibition, in which selected regional artists present their work, takes place for the first time on the premises of bauverein AG. The exhibition develops into an annual event and celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2014.
