WohnArt3
WohnArt3 is the name of bauverein AG's first passive house project, which will be realised between 2008 and 2010 in the K6 development area in Kranichstein. The passive house residential building is being built in co-operation with the future tenants, who are members of a registered association. The 14 publicly subsidised and 30 privately financed flats create space for intergenerational living under one roof.
Chairman of the Executive Board extended
Hans-Jürgen Braun is appointed for a further five years until mid-2013.
Retreading on Holzhofallee
As part of a major modernisation project, 30 flats in Holzhofallee are being refurbished, eight new residential units are being built by adding storeys to the roof and five new flats are being created by adding an extension.
Student flats honoured
The two residential buildings with student flats of bauverein AG in Eschollbrücker Strasse are honoured with the German Builder-Owner Award 2008 of the "High Quality - Affordable Costs" campaign in residential construction at the DEUBAU 2008 (International Building Trade Fair) in Essen.
Daycare centre receives award
The day care centre in Ernst-Ludwig-Park, which was built between August 2004 and August 2005, was also awarded special recognition by the state of Hesse and the Hesse Chamber of Architects and Town Planners as part of the "Exemplary Buildings in the State of Hesse" architecture prize - the oldest continuously awarded prize of its kind in Germany.
Modern telecommunications equipment
bauverein AG is upgrading its residential property with modern telecommunications equipment. It has concluded a three-year co-operation agreement with Deutsche Telekom AG, which will enable surfing, telephony and television via the Internet from a single source for around 15,700 flats
