The properties at Moltkestrasse 27-37 will be refurbished, modernised and extended from July. The quality of living in the 42 existing flats will be significantly improved and 28 barrier-free new flats, accessible via a lift and pergola, will be created with a newly built 3rd floor and a top floor. The topping-out ceremony will be celebrated in November.
The topping-out ceremony for bauverein AG Darmstadt's first passive house residential complex, the WohnArt 3 project, is also celebrated in Elisabeth-Selbert-Straße in June.
On the basis of 60 indicators from 5 different areas (social sustainability, environmental protection, responsible corporate governance, economic sustainability and responsible human resources management), which the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) working group at EURHONET has developed, the first CSR report of bauverein AG is prepared in German and English and presented at an international conference.
bauverein AG begins to gradually restore the works of art on the building, which have been attacked by fine dust, other pollutant particles and acid rain over the years. In recognition of its commitment and promotion of art in the Hessian region, bauverein AG is awarded the Georg August Zinn Medal by the Hessian Minister President Roland Koch.
Mrs Daniela Wagner, who has been a member of the Management Board of bauverein AG since 1994, is re-elected as a part-time member of the Management Board of bauverein AG. The successor to Mr Franz Volkers, who has worked for bauverein AG as a part-time member of the Management Board since 1985 and is retiring this year for age reasons, is Michael Siebel, who is active as the housing policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group in the state parliament in addition to other functions.
