The contract is signed
At the beginning of the year, BVD New Living GmbH & Co. KG exercised the City of Darmstadt's right of first refusal on behalf of the city and acquired the 34-hectare plot on the former Cambrai-Fritsch site. Now that the contract has been signed, the development of the Ludwighöhviertel neighbourhood can begin.
Fourth topping-out ceremony on Lincoln
After a good six months, the topping-out wreath has also been hoisted for the fourth construction project in the Lincoln estate. Since June 2018, 146 subsidised flats have been under construction here according to plans by Wiesbaden architects Bitsch & Bienstein.
Digital customer communication possible
bauverein AG is breaking new ground in customer communication: since the beginning of the year, a chatbot has been available to new customers at all times. New customers can communicate with bauverein AG around the clock via the instant messaging apps WhatsApp, Threema and Telegram and share their concerns.
Green and active schoolyards
With financial support from bauverein AG and the city of Darmstadt, the Heinrich Hoffmann School playground has become greener and more beautiful. The interdisciplinary project of the architecture and biology departments of TU Darmstadt focussed on the question of how the outdoor areas could be made more child-friendly and ecological. Among other things, a climbing house and a barefoot path were created.
bauverein AG converts building plot into biotope
At Oppenheimer Strasse 7, a biotope is being created on a former, previously unused building plot belonging to bauverein AG in collaboration with the "Zusammen in der Postsiedlung" association and BUND. The biodiverse nature experience area will serve as a place of retreat and nature experience for the residents of the estate and will also be used for public nature tours. The contract was signed in June.
Lincoln estate: the first tenants have arrived
At the beginning of June, the time had finally come to move into the first new buildings on the Lincoln estate. The flats in the new-build projects on plots 3.1 and 3.2 - a total of 173 flats - were let. Marketing for the flats had already started at the beginning of the year.
Foundation of bauTega GmbH
bauverein AG and ENTEGA AG are pooling their expertise in building technology and heat supply in a joint company: bauTega GmbH. The aim is to increase the efficiency of the heat supply in bauverein AG's properties.
Fourth tenants' football tournament
The fourth tenant football tournament organised by bauverein AG was also a success: in bright sunshine and almost too warm temperatures, six teams competed against each other on the grounds of TSG 1846 Darmstadt at the end of August - a successful and exciting tournament!
Vivarium Sponsoring
With the financial support of bauverein AG, the visitor attraction beach was completely overhauled: The sand was completely replaced. Three new high-quality beach chairs invite visitors to linger.
