Fritz-Dächert-Siedlung

Energy-efficient refurbishments can make an important contribution to achieving the German government's climate protection targets. However, bauverein
AG decided not to modernise the buildings in the Eberstadt "Fritz-Dächert-Siedlung" dating back to the 1950s, as was the case in the "Postsiedlung" or in the "
Holzhofhallee" / "Schepp Allee", but rather to modernise them carefully and adapt them to the needs of today's residents. A building envelope refurbishment was carried out. In doing so, bauverein AG responded to the wishes of the tenants. By dispensing with energy-saving measures, the comparatively low rents were maintained, but the quality of living was improved.
